00:10Sudanese student Hadil Anwar al-Zubair became the grand winner of the Arab Reading Challenge
00:152019 on Wednesday, bagging a cash prize of 500,000 dirhams.
00:19After a year of intense rounds of the contest, the grand finale was held at Dubai Opera.
00:24The five finalists performed the last round live in front of a packed audience.
00:30His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE
00:35and ruler of Dubai, crowned the champion who outdid 13.5 million students who participated
