00:10election, today we bring you the story of Khushboo Sundar, actor turned politician.

00:16She's had huge success as a Tamil superstar in cinema and now in the world of politics

00:21as well.

00:22She began her career in the DMK, went on to the Congress and is now a very vocal member

00:28of the BJP.

00:29Khushboo has been in the headlines recently for a number of reasons.

00:33The first was her very brave decision to come out and speak about the sexual abuse that

00:37she faced as a child.

00:39The second is an old tweet of hers when she was in the Congress, where she too spoke about

00:44the Modi surname, the issue that has got Rahul Gandhi into trouble with the Surat court leading

00:49to his disqualification.

00:50Whether you agree or disagree with Khushboo, one thing is clear, she speaks her mind and

00:56takes a stand on issues that she feels strongly about.

00:59And very often that has meant that she speaks out in a voice that's different from that

01:04of her party, the BJP.

01:06So on Love Jihad or so-called Love Jihad, she's taken a contrarian position.

01:11She's spoken out against the release of Bilqis Bhanu's rapists.
