Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) is all set to open its doors on Monday, with visitors greeted by a packed schedule of events and a huge collection of books.

00:00The beloved Abu Dhabi International Book Fair is running once again in the capital.
00:03If you're someone who loves books,
00:05please come on down to the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre between now and May 29th.
00:13This year's book fair, the 31st edition of the fair, has 73,000 square metres of space,
00:19thousands of titles up for grabs and a number of speaker sessions and book signings
00:24to excite everyone coming. Abu Dhabi International Book Fair is running
00:28at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Centre, as I've mentioned,
00:32and entry requirements this year are much more relaxed.
00:35Vaccinated visitors simply need to present an Al-Hosn Green Pass
00:39and unvaccinated visitors have to present a PCR test
00:43that is negative, obtained within the previous 96 hours.
00:47This year's country of honour is Germany, so there will be a number of sessions
00:58and titles that focus on German language works.
01:02The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre also has a number of speaker sessions.
01:07This year, the Arabic Language Centre is honouring
01:10Saudi tinker, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ratami as its cultural personality of the year.
01:30Whether you love works of mystery, adventure, fiction or young adult,
01:34they're all available here in a number of languages that you can totally enjoy.
