00:00Before we get to the fight itself. This was your first fight for LXF. What drew you to lights out extreme fighting?

00:05Oh, what was it that made you want to fight for the organization? How'd you feel your first run with them? When I

00:12Had a couple buddies as I fought for them before and I like their

00:15promotion how they televised everything is like on a real professional level and

00:22yes, but we found an opportunity to fight for them and we just jumped on it and

00:26Yeah, I was happy with the victory and I like their show and like to be a part of it again

00:33We're looking forward to seeing what's next for you with it after this great when you fought Corbin Allen

00:37It was a tough fight in the beginning, you know, I watched the fight the first round

00:40He was kind of frustrating with those takedowns

00:42You know

00:43you had a couple that you stopped but he was

00:45You know determined to get you to the mat one way or the other with that and just kept trying to drag you down drag

00:50You down a couple of you. You've got a good spin. You ended up, you know on the top yourself

00:55But what was it like, you know in that part of the fight early on and your first fight his organization's guy

01:00Just basically wrapped around you like a kind of just trying to drag you down over and over

01:06yeah, I

01:07Knew he was a good good wrestler cuz like all his fights. He wrestles in my five win streak six and two

01:14I didn't I didn't know how strong he was gonna be but that dude's pretty strong that dude's really strong actually for that weight class and

01:21Yeah, and then he just glued to me I couldn't really get him off of me it was like a different feeling

01:26I have a couple guys in the gym that are heavier that feels like that but like for

01:30Him to be the same weight as me. Yeah, it was kind of a shocking feeling

01:36Well, you started finding your rhythm and your range in that second round that right hand that straight right is the one that I kept

01:42Doing the most damage to him. Of course, you know other punches were working as well

01:46What do you think was the biggest change between that first and second round that you're able to keep him at bag?

01:50Keep him at distance and start to use, you know, the great striking you had

01:53Do you think he just gets himself out in that first with all the takedown attempts or what was it?

01:57You think that really started to turn the tide there. I

02:01Yeah, all the takedowns and not getting it taking me down every single time

02:06I think that played a big factor too and then just me and my coaches thinking to the game plan and believing in my striking

02:12and then all the work that we put in and

02:14Everybody that helped us with the camp, you know

02:17They all prepped me for this moment. So I think

02:19That was a big factor, too
