Victor jumped on TMZ's "2 Angry Men" podcast with Harvey and Mark Geragos, and admitted when he wrote the iconic song the lyrics were a double entendre -- straight people could interpret 'hangin' out with all the boys' as maybe playing hoops, while gay people could view it as gettin' down in various places at the facility.

00:13that the song YMCA was, um, basically a song about f***ing in the shower.

00:19Well Karen Willis demanded an apology.

00:21Karen Willis, who is the wife and manager of Victor Willis, who's the lead singer of

00:26He sent Jim a cease and desist and Victor has insisted that YMCA is not a gay anthem

00:33and that he said specifically not about gay sex.

00:37So Victor and Karen say that Jim apologized.

00:40They said that on our Two Angry Men podcast with Mark Harris and me.

00:43Karen approached him with it and he apologized and said he was going to correct it or whatever.

00:50Although that's not exactly what Jim told us when we spoke to him.

00:53He's saying he won't say it anymore but he didn't apologize for saying it the first time.

00:56In the meantime, Victor does acknowledge that YMCA is an anthem in the gay community.

01:01They can call it a gay anthem, it's an anthem period, it's an anthem to me, to a lot of people.

01:07And besides, what makes people say YMCA is about gay sex other than maybe the lyrics?
