00:00This is really anathema to the Jordanian security services,

00:03certainly not in the interest of Jordan, a key US ally.

00:07And I will also mention that for the United States,

00:10Jordan is what we call a lily pad for US interests there.

00:14We work on counter-terrorism issues,

00:17counter-proliferation issues.

00:19And I'll say very clearly from US intelligence,

00:21hundreds of Americans have been saved by the Jordanians

00:25and they're a very capable security apparatus.

00:27So altogether, really kind of a migraine-inducing headache

00:33for intelligence personnel,

00:34US intelligence personnel in the region.
