00:00Former Basis Conversion and Development Authority Chief Vivencio Vins Brigas Dizon was appointed

00:06as the new head of the Department of Transportation. According to Executive Secretary Lucas Versamin,

00:12the appointment will be effective on February 21. Dizon will replace Secretary Jaime Bautista.

00:19In a statement released by the DOTR, Bautista passed his resignation because of health issues.

00:25Bautista thanked President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for the opportunity he gave

00:30to serve in the government.
