00:00The National Bureau of Investigation saved two Filipinas from Malaysia.

00:16The West African Syndicate is doing drug mules for the drugs that will be delivered to Hong Kong.

00:23At a press conference on Wednesday, the National Bureau of Investigation saved the two Filipinas

00:29who were hiding their identities for their protection.

00:33The two Filipinas were recruited for follow-up operations

00:38for the 25 million pesos worth of cocaine from a drug courier in Pasay City last January.

00:45There are two Filipinas who are being recruited by the African Drug Syndicate to Malaysia.

00:57All expenses are paid at $500 to $5,000 if the work continues.

01:08From Malaysia, the drugs will be delivered to Hong Kong.

01:16In cooperation with the NBI Dangerous Drugs Division Unit in the Malaysian authorities,

01:21the drug package containing 2.3 kilograms of cocaine worth 15.6 million pesos

01:30was blocked before it reached the two Filipinas.

01:33An African was also arrested.

01:35According to the NBI, the African Drug Trafficking Syndicate is only selecting

01:40Filipinos who are financially distressed or in need of money,

01:44have no job, and are fluent in English.

01:48The African will be held accountable in Malaysia

01:51while the two Filipinas will be given counseling for their criminal liability.

01:58It's better to save the victims of the Filipinos than to have another Veloso case.
