00:00The plan of the Department of Agriculture is to put a maximum suggested retail price on imported rice

00:06when the new labeling rules are implemented.

00:10According to Agriculture Secretary Francisco Chu Laurel Jr.,

00:14when the new labeling rules are released,

00:16MSRP will be implemented immediately on every type of imported rice.

00:22The Department of Agriculture continues to work hard to lower the MSRP of 5% broken imported rice,

00:30which is currently Php 55 per kilo.

00:32On February 15, MSRP will be lowered to Php 52

00:38while by the end of March, it is planned to be lowered to Php 49.
