00:00The target of the Department of Agriculture is to sell NFA rice for 38 pesos to local governments.

00:08It is equal or cheaper than 38 to 65 pesos per kilo of rice in their main markets in Metro Manila.

00:17300,000 sacks of rice are ready to be sold by the National Food Authority.

00:22According to the NFA, it is considered non-regular or old stock rice that has been in the warehouse for two months.

00:30But the quality is still good.

00:32It needs to be released by the agency to give way to incoming farmers this harvest season.
