At this vocational college in Hesse, young people attend classes in subjects like electrical engineering or mechanics. But the school’s "democracy team" also ensures that students receive a political education. With far-right and extremist groups on the rise, including among Germany’s youth, the teachers consider it more important than ever to teach students the value of democracy.
