00:00Meanwhile, to fight the spread of false information, the Presidential Communications Office has partnered with Vera Files.

00:08It aims to strengthen media literacy in state-run media like PTV, Radyo Pilipinas, IBC, Philippine News Agency, and Philippine Information Agency through training.

00:21Vera Files' fact-checking and online verification training will ensure the training will be done by fact-checkers in PCOs in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

00:35Based on the Memorandum of Agreement, Vera Files' training will not be charged as a support against false information.

00:43This partnership will help strengthen transparency and media literacy in the country.

00:49It is also a reflection of PCO's strong dedication to provide accurate information to the public.
