00:00To fight the spread of false information, the Presidential Communications Office and VeriFiles joined forces.

00:07Their goal is to strengthen media literacy in state-run media such as PTV, Radio Pilipinas, IBC, Philippine News Agency, and Philippine Information Agency

00:17through a training called Siguraduhin Toto'o, a VeriFiles fact-checking and online verification training.

00:24The theme of the training will be done by fact-checkers in the branches of PCO in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

00:30Based on the Memorandum of Agreement, VeriFiles will not be charged for practicing against false information.

00:39We hope that this partnership will contribute to transparency and media literacy in the country

00:44and will show the strong dedication of PCO in providing correct information to the public.
