00:00If an individual is going through a symptom that is familiar, something like a runny nose
00:11or sore throat, and it's not deteriorating day by day, then staying home and just improving
00:17their immunity and hydrating and making sure that they sleep well and they eat well is
00:25usually enough.
00:26However, if any of these symptoms, such as sore throat or dry cough or some muscle pain,
00:33if all these symptoms are corresponding to a recent travel or corresponding to direct
00:42contact with a person that is either infected or is a suspect, then this definitely warrants
00:49them to go to a hospital just to get a check.
00:52So there aren't any differentiating symptoms between the coronavirus and any other viruses.
00:58Recently there were a lot of posts and rumors that have been circulating in the social media
01:02that are basically demarcating the different symptoms between coronaviruses and other viruses.
01:08So this is not correct because based on the international health organizations, the symptoms
01:16can be very similar.
01:17The only sort of red flag that can be added to any of the symptoms that could be common
01:24is the history of recent travel to a high-risk country or contact with a person that basically
01:32got infected with the virus.
