00:00Tell me about your feelings now, you have struggled for many years to get this title.

00:05Yeah, it's been a long journey since I've been like 9 years and it's something very

00:11beautiful that I'm now being honored to have this trophy, to have this title and I'm actually

00:17going to thank everybody that helped me in that way and in this journey and yeah, that's

00:22something very beautiful and I feel very proud to hold this one and actually to represent

00:28my country in the perfect way.

00:29How many times have you participated?

00:31I've been participating since I was 9 years old, so it's 8 years of participating and

00:36it's been 5 times that I went to the AARC Arab Reading Challenge and Alhamdulillah

00:42now I'm the winner.

00:45Your parents said you have been going through a lot because of the situation back home,

00:49can you talk about that?

00:51Yeah, I believe the situation in Palestine is very, it's very hurtful because you see

00:57that what's happening, it doesn't affect only the people in refugee camps or in Gaza,

01:05it affects the education, it affects the reading, the books and they want to destroy the universities,

01:11the schools, but I see that the Palestinian people and the Palestinian kids are very strong

01:17to participate in these competitions and to challenge and to be the best, Inshallah.

01:23You are the biggest testimony for that, yeah?

01:25And what do you plan to do with your prize money?

01:28The thing that I'm going to do is like to help any student, is a Palestinian or non-Palestinian,

01:35is an Arab, I want to help them because reading is the key to success and I want to help them

01:41buy this money for reading and for recreation.

01:45What do you want to become in life?

01:47I really want to have a very important, be a very important factor of the modern world

01:54that is waiting for us.
