00:39He's been that good comparatively and a number of different defensemen scoring and league leaderboard categories

00:46Also for jack adams scott arneal the winnipeg jets have maybe been the biggest story in the league this year

00:52I know that washington has been a bigger surprise

00:55But sometimes these surprising teams like you're seeing it now with the minnesota wild they go on a bit of a spill

01:02I know that ovechkin is going to be in the midst of the great chase for wayne gretzky down the stretch may even get it

01:09Especially if he gets it. I mean what an incredible story that team is

02:05I know that he missed a little time because of injury and then had that three-game suspension

02:09So that's why he's kind of fallen back a little bit

02:15To invest in in terms of his ceiling the rest of the way and then if you're looking at big picture

02:21Who's the most valuable player for the oilers generally speaking? It is conor mcdavid drysaddle is a very close second

02:30And I think that in the goal scoring race one other guy I wanted to mention for the four nations is sam reinhardt

02:37He is I believe tied five for second behind drysaddle about seven goals behind him

02:43in the regular season give or take but

02:45Sam reinhardt's going to be playing on power play one for canada and also when he goes back to the panthers

02:51He has been the best goal scorer this past calendar year. He

02:55Led the nhl and special teams goals

02:58So power play goals plus shorthanded goals and he's on power play one for team canada with an all-world lineup
