00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. attended the League of Municipalities of the Philippines

00:04General Assembly in Manila.

00:06The chief executive urged mayors to prioritize public service ahead of the 2025 midterm elections,

00:12emphasizing the intensity of local elections, particularly at the Barangay level.

00:17With a campaign period for provincial, city, and Barangay candidates set to begin on March

00:2128th, President Marcos Jr. encouraged officials to sustain their efforts beyond their terms

00:27and maintain the same dedication regardless of their future roles in service.

00:32The president also assured continued assistance to local governments to improve public service

00:37delivery, highlighting key programs such as the electronic business, one-stop shop, or

00:42e-boss.

00:43And whatever path you choose after this, whether you seek another mandate or move on to a new

01:03chapter in your lives, I trust that you will embrace the same grit, passion, and commitment

01:09to service.
