00:00Vice President Sara Duterte filed a complaint inciting to sedition and grave threats

00:06because of her negligence to the President, First Lady, and House Speaker.

00:11Earlier, the NBI filed a complaint to the Department of Justice,

00:16and John Consulta was involved.

00:21After more than two months of investigation,

00:24the NBI brought to the Department of Justice

00:27their recommended complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte,

00:31their request to the DOJ,

00:33a complaint inciting to sedition and grave threats,

00:36as well as the blatant statements of the Vice President last November.

00:42When I was killed,

00:44you killed BBM,

00:45Lisa Araneta,

00:47and Martin Romales. No joke.

00:51No joke.

00:52At one point, the Vice President said

00:55that she did not file a threat of assassination to the President.

01:00Earlier, the Department of Justice formally accepted

01:03the documents of the NBI's complaint.

01:05We believe that our evidence was enough.

01:09It's in the DOJ's hands now.

01:12They will determine

01:14if they will conduct a preliminary investigation

01:19and later, file a case in court.

01:23The NBI tried to find the person

01:26that VP Sara was talking about,

01:29but they were not able to find him.

01:31The NBI tried twice

01:33to invite the Vice President

01:35to give a statement on their investigation,

01:37but it did not succeed.

01:39We are political straightforward.

01:42We did not order or dictate

01:45what should be done in the case.

01:49Our investigation is based on our evidence.

01:56In a statement, the DOJ confirmed

01:58that they received the complaint

02:00and that it will be filed

02:02in the evaluation and preliminary investigation

02:05of the National Prosecution Service.

02:07The Vice President's answer to this

02:10was that she was expecting this.

02:13Senate President Chase Escudero

02:15said that there was no effect

02:17on the impeachment of Vice President Duterte

02:20if he was the DOJ's case.

02:22There was no effect on the impeachment proceedings.

02:25There was no bearing and there was no involvement.

02:28It can continue at the same time,
