00:09President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued a federal decree
00:14law on excise tax, paving the way for introduction of excise tax on selected products.
00:20The new law comes ahead of the planned introduction of excise tax from the fourth quarter of this

00:26As per Federal Decree Law No. 7 of 2017, excise tax shall be imposed on excise goods but the
00:34tax rates shall not exceed 200% of the excise price.

01:28and un-Islamic.
01:29Victims, including Shaira Bano, whose husband used triple talaq to divorce her by letter
01:35in 2015, had approached India's highest court to ask for a ruling.
