00:00The known Filipina restaurateur and chef Margarita Forrest died at the age of 65.

00:05It was confirmed by his son Amado on the social media today.

00:09He was kindly asking for prayers for her mother as his family is mourning for her sudden death.

00:15Margarita opened an Italian restaurant, namely Chibo, in 1997 at Metro Manila.

00:21Soon, she opened more restaurants such as Bepato, Luso, and Grace Park.

00:26In 2016, she was named as Asia's Best Female Chef by the world's 50 best restaurants.
