00:27but that didn't appear to be a big deal.

00:28He's lost Tyreek Hill as a player.

00:30That didn't appear to be a big deal.

00:32They have some skill, but winning now,

00:35getting to this next run is going to be far more difficult

00:38than what they've been doing the last couple of years.

00:41Now you will be able to really see

00:43whether he has any Tom Brady in him or not.

00:46And, and what, you know, what, what they were able,

00:50how they were able to keep it together here

00:54for 20 plus years with, what did Tom Brady play?

00:5724 years in the NFL.

00:59So 22 years here or whatever the number is

01:02and the way that, that he and Bill were able

01:06to stay together and, and interact for that long

01:09is a part of the, of the magic of the dynasty.

01:14So I don't, we were talking about it yesterday.

01:17Like how long do you really think Mahomes

01:20is going to have the advantage

01:22of having Andy Reid as his head coach?

01:24I don't, but I don't think Andy Reid is as much

01:27for me personally, I, I don't think Andy Reid

01:31is as much of a like Mahomes needs him.

01:36I think if Mahomes has a girl.

01:37I'm going to have to call cap too.

01:40I mean, you point out how important Bill was all the time.

01:44But I think Bill's a better coach than Andy Reid.

01:47And I think Bill's strong point was his defense as a coach.

01:53Where I think Andy Reid, where I think Patrick Mahomes

01:56if you put a good offensive coordinator with him

01:59I think he'll strive the same way that Brady strived

02:04on the Charlie Weiss, Josh McDaniels and Billy O'Brien.

02:09So I think that you'll, the head coach will just have

02:12to keep the, you know, the, the, the overall team gelling.

02:19But I think when you have a guy like Mahomes

02:22he'll have that type of, of, of ability to do that.

02:25Would you consider Andy Reid to be

02:28in the same conversation as Belichick?

02:30I mean, I, I mean, he is right.

02:34I mean, he is, I, I, I wouldn't personally put him

02:37there 100%.

02:38I'm kind of with Wiggy on this in that like

02:41by the end, the offense was Tom's

02:44like he learned it through Charlie and Bill

02:47and Josh and Billy O and all that.

02:49But in the end, when he got to Tampa

02:52and they were struggling

02:53he basically just recreated the offense he knew

02:55and he was able to execute it despite the fact

02:57that his coaches didn't create it.

02:58I do think-

02:59But you also had him surpassing Bill Belichick

03:02if they won that game on Sunday.

03:04Well, because I, Bill Belichick's never replicated it

03:08anywhere with any coach or with anybody other

03:10than Tom Brady.

03:10And the fact that Tom was able to go

03:12and execute it without him.

03:14I just thought if Andy Reid, Andy Reid is

03:17is much more beneficial to Patrick Mahomes

03:19in that he's an offensive genius.

03:22So he knows the side of the ball that Mahomes plays.

03:24And if he had won four Super Bowls

03:26and had been very successful in his prior stop

03:29and he's approaching within 20, 30 wins

03:31of Bill Belichick, then it was a legitimate conversation.

03:33Today, no longer a conversation.

03:35I was dead-ass drunk.

03:37That was one of the worst game plans I've ever seen.

03:40I want to know what, I can't wait till it comes out

03:42what Andy Reid did during the 30 minutes

03:45of halftime at that Super Bowl.

03:46Like what was he focused on?

03:48Did he have a-

03:48Did he not go out and watch Kendrick Lamar?

03:49Was he ordering pizza?

03:51Did he hide the boxes under the bed

03:52like he did at Lehigh College?

03:54I mean, not a single, we talked about it yesterday

03:57but not a single adjustment.

03:59Not even, you brought up Travis Kelsey

04:01and you know, blocking, not his forte.

04:03But I mean, if he can't, if he can't catch a football

04:06and he can't be involved in the offense

04:08that it's second half, send him out there to block.

04:11Like, I mean, like it was

04:14there was zero adjustment made on that football game.

04:17And so, and that's why I look at

04:19like I'm not taking anything away from Andy Reid

04:21as him not being a good coach.

04:23I just think Patrick Mahomes is good enough

04:28where if you, cause we've seen Mahomes

04:31with Eric Bien-Ami as the play caller.

04:34So we've seen him with other play calls.

04:36So I think if you get another play caller in there

04:38because Andy Reid decided he wanted to retire

04:42I don't think they're going to miss a beat on offense.

04:44And then the other thing that we have to factor in

04:47that might be completely different

04:49than what, how it was here in New England

04:52is how much is the ownership and front office

04:56willing to put pieces around Patrick Mahomes

05:00throughout his peak of his prime?

05:03Yeah. Are they willing to do that?

05:04There's a lot that goes into it.

05:06Like at some point he's going to want a rewrite

05:10on his deal, right?

05:11I mean,

05:12They're going to do it this year, I think.

05:13Okay. So there's all of the, it's

05:17as we witnessed,

05:19it's impossible to keep it going

05:21with everybody reasonably happy

05:23for an extended period of time.

05:25I just think it gets exponentially harder

05:28when you're talking the next dynasty

05:31for Mahomes to do it without Andy Reid,

05:35without Travis Kelsey.

05:36And I think it gets, I just think it gets harder.

05:39But I'll give Sean credit though.

05:40Sean is right.

05:41If you look at, I think that the thing that might make it,

05:46we'll at least take the pressure off Mahomes

05:48moving forward that Brady didn't have

05:52is that Mahomes looks like he has two young wide receivers

05:57that could be pretty good.

05:58Worthy.

05:59And worthy and Rasheed Rice.

06:01So he looks like, okay,

06:03he has these two guys that he can build this relationship

06:06where with Brady, it was like,

06:08we had no idea what Welker was.

06:10We had no idea what Edelman was.

06:13We kind of had like Gronk,

06:14we were like our second round pick.

06:17And then he kind of started to come around

06:19and you're like, all right, here's what Gronk is.

06:20But Brady never had young wide receivers

06:24that you could say,

06:25oh, these guys could be good with him

06:27for the next four or five years.

06:29I love this discussion.

06:30We got into it a little bit yesterday.

06:34that when it comes to the conference,

06:36at least he has to deal,

06:39he's gonna have to deal with two,

06:42at least two really talented quarterbacks,

06:45more talented than Tom Brady had to deal with early on.

06:57Like Mahomes doesn't have to deal

07:02it's not a harder road for Mahomes to get back there

07:05than it was for Tom Brady to get back.

07:21You're judging on his career.

07:23You're judging on Rivers' career.

07:32that Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, and Josh Allen

07:37are gonna be better than Phillip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger?

07:42but are they gonna be better than those quarterbacks?
