00:00A complaint has been filed before the ombudsman against House Speaker Martin Ramaldas and

00:04other House leaders for alleged falsification of public documents and the violation of Anti-Graft

00:09Act in the 2025 national budget.

00:12The complainants, including Representative Pantaleon Alvarez, claim the illegal insertion

00:16amounting to 241 billion pesos.

00:19The respondents say the case is politically motivated or related to the impeachment of

00:23Vice President Sara Duterte, but Alvarez insists the issues are unrelated.

00:30Well, what I can say about the Speaker, what he is thinking is the improvement of the Filipino

00:39people.

00:40This is the liberty of everyone to resort to the legal remedies, but I just want to

00:49manifest to express that as a member of the majority bloc, that is LACA-CMD, which is

00:57the majority bloc in the House of Representatives, the 19th Congress of the Philippines.

01:03I can personally say that all the legislative actions of the 19th Congress through the leadership

01:12of the Speaker are anchored on uplifting the lives of Filipino citizens.
