00:00Several places in the country have experienced heavy rains during bad times.

00:04Let's find out if the rains will continue in some provinces from the news of the country by Denise Osorio of PTV Live.

00:14It is expected that there will be heavy rains in the next few days in Central and Southern Luzon and Eastern Visayas.

00:23According to the Philippine Atmospheric and Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration,

00:29this will be followed by the Sheer Line and the ITCZ or Intertropical Convergence Zone and the Aming-Amihan.

00:38Heavy rains will continue until February 12 in Quezon, Mindoro, Palawan, Tamarines, Catanduanes, Albay, Sosogon,

00:49Pilangan and Hilagang Samar, Aurora, Cagayan, and Isabela.

00:53Rainfall may reach up to 100 mm.

00:58ITCZ will continue to bring heavy rains in Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan

01:04while heavy rains in the Northeast Monsoon in Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Kitnang Luzon, and Calabarzon.

01:14Other areas may experience light rain or thunderstorms.

01:18It is expected to be careful of flash floods, especially in the Bicol region,

01:24because it is difficult for the land to absorb rainwater.

01:28When it rains continuously, it overwhelms the land.

01:41The additional rain will not percolate or sink the land.

01:50The rain will only reach the floodplain.

01:55It is more dangerous for those who live near the river because of the flash floods.

02:00It is fast.

02:02They need to be alert.

02:09Now, there is hope that there will be no typhoon or typhoon in our country

02:16because there is no LPA or low-pressure area.
