00:00It's been so exciting for all the staff, and so exciting to see the public's reaction as well.

00:06It's such a rare plant, and the infrequency of it flowering is really attractive to a lot of people,

00:13who want to see something rare.

00:15The smell is also certainly an attractant, but people are just really curious to know,

00:19does it really smell that bad?

00:21And yes, it does, I can promise you.

00:23It's pretty gag-worthy.

00:25At the moment, the plant is senescing, it's starting to close up, the smell is not as intense,

00:30and today we're likening it to your mouldy, dirty laundry,

00:35so it's not quite as bad as it was a day or two ago.
