00:00I'm very, very happy to celebrate Chinese New Year with the Greeks, friends from all walks of life here tonight.

00:10So, in the Chinese culture, the snake symbolizes wisdom, resilience, and good fortune.

00:21And I also know in Greek mythology, it represents eternity, healing, and also wisdom.

00:32So, I take this opportunity to express my best wishes to all the Greek friends and also the members of the local Chinese community.

00:43Happy New Year of the snake, and wish everyone health, joy, and prosperity.

00:53Despite the geographic distance between the two countries, we have a very long-lasting friendship,

01:01and we have many, many avenues for the two countries to learn from each other.

01:10So, this is something I would like to encourage Greek friends to visit China as much as possible,

01:17because we have two direct flights connecting Athens to our capital city, Beijing, and Shanghai.

01:25And also, I would like to invite many of my Chinese friends to visit Greece to explore the possibility

01:34and to tap the potential of cooperation in many, many areas.

01:39And I'm very confident, you know, with this mutual learning, with the long-standing friendship,

01:45and, yeah, we will have a better, brighter future for our cooperation and the partnership.

01:53Better, look now, Italy, for example. Hungary. We have very advanced relations. We have to do the same.

02:03Of course, we are a European Union, but without China, we cannot always be behind the Americans.

02:10We have to have some initiatives, but not politics. It's relations. It's business.

02:17Like the President of America said, business. Business today.
