00:00We are leaving England and moving abroad for a better life. I made a post about this on my TikTok
00:06a few days ago and honestly I did not realise how much it would blow up. It's currently on over a
00:12million views and I've had multiple journalists contact me and I've even had the TikTok being
00:19featured in the Mirror and Board Panda by journalists who did not contact me and have
00:24just used my TikTok without permission. So hi to you journalists out there who have used my
00:30post without permission. It would have been nice if you'd made a courtesy call before you posted it
00:35but we move on. I had a lot of comments on that post and I thought I would come on here and answer
00:41a few of the questions for you. One of the main questions that I got is where are we moving to?
00:46So we are getting on a one-way flight this weekend and we are going straight to the Philippines
00:52and then from there we are going to be traveling around Southeast Asia to places like Singapore,
00:57Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and then hopefully we'll even go to Japan and South Korea. There are so
01:04many countries that we want to visit and there's so much of the world that we want to see so we
01:09are going to use this opportunity to be a travel family for a bit and then we will figure out a
01:14place that we want to settle. The next question that I got a lot was what will we be doing for
01:19work? So me and my husband have a business together and we have built it to a point where
01:25we can work remotely and we can work from anywhere in the world. So that is really handy in having
01:32that digital nomad kind of lifestyle but it hasn't been easy. We finally feel comfortable enough
01:38to take the leap and go and leave England for long term. And another question that we got was are you
01:44allowed to homeschool and do you need a degree to do that? Yes we are allowed to homeschool. We have
01:50deregistered our child from primary school so he's not in school anymore. He finished his last day
01:57last week and obviously we have made a lot of friends and he's made a lot of friends in his
02:04class. We are planning to come back here every summer so we will still be keeping in touch with
02:10all of these families we've made friends with and because of the digital era now he can be on
02:15WhatsApp, you know, video calls with them. That's what I plan to do with the mums and arrange
02:20kind of chats over the phone so the kids can still keep in touch and so yeah I don't have
02:26any worries about that. He'll be meeting so many new kids whilst we are travelling and he will
02:31definitely be socialising and we will still be doing his homework and his homeschooling every
02:36single day. We have resources online, the teachers have given us the curriculum that they teach them
02:43in school and no you do not need a degree to teach your kids at primary school level and luckily
02:52enough in this digital world that we live in everything is online. There's apps on iPads and
02:59I've bought loads of different books, phonics books and workbooks that he can do every single day even
03:04whilst we are travelling. They are the answers to those questions. If you have any more questions
03:10then feel free to ask them in my comments. If you are interested in our world schooling or
03:15homeschooling journey then please follow along. I will be posting every day or as much as I can do
03:22but yeah follow along and see how our journey unfolds. Bye!
