00:16the Philippine National Police reiterated their commitment for a peaceful midterm elections.
00:22The goal of their 100-day security plan is to capture any possible threat.
00:26Private armed groups will be free and will be able to stay properly before and after the election,
00:33even though the PNP is targeting the campaign against loose firearms,
00:38wanted criminals, proactive intelligence monitoring,
00:41and strategic police deployments in areas that are declared as areas of concern.
00:46The Philippine National Police chief also stated that although their top priority is election security,
00:51the PNP should not neglect the violation of criminality, illegal drugs, and other public threats.
01:02Meanwhile, House Ways and Means Chairman Joey Salceda called for additional work in the agriculture sector.
01:11This was his statement after the latest unemployment rate data was released by the Philippine Statistics Authority.
01:18According to Salceda, this is a sign of the continued economic downturn.
01:23The additional work related to transportation and construction has reached 920,000 jobs in these sectors.
01:33However, Salceda also stated that the number of workers in the agriculture sector should be taken into consideration
01:43because of the transfer of jobs, such as transportation and construction workers, to other sectors.
