00:03This is our update for the upcoming 24 hours.

00:08We can see here in our latest satellite images,

00:12this thick cloud in the northern part of the Luzon

00:16is the continuous effect of the shear line or convergence

00:20of hot and cold winds.

00:22At the moment, this shear line is affecting a large part of the southern Luzon.

00:29For the next 24 hours, we will experience a high chance of clouds and rain

00:35in a large part of our country,

00:37particularly here in the area of Eastern Visayas, Bicol Region,

00:41the whole Calabar Zone, the whole of Mimaropa,

00:44and here in the province of Aurora.

00:47In a large part of the central and northern Luzon,

00:50including Metro Manila,

00:51we will experience clouds and rain brought by the northeast monsoon

00:56or the cold winds.

00:58For the rest of the country, in the rest of Visayas and the rest of Mindanao,

01:02our prevailing weather system is easterly.

01:04We will experience high chances of clouds and rain,

01:07hot and cold winds in the areas of Caraga and Davao Region.

01:11In the meantime, we will experience a part of clouds and rain

01:14and a chance of thunderstorms in a large part of Visayas

01:19and in a large part of Mindanao.

01:21At the moment, we are not monitoring the low-pressure area

01:23or the bad weather inside and outside our park

01:26where there may be thunderstorms in the coming days.

01:29This is our latest weather advisory issued as of 5 p.m. today.

01:35For the next 24 hours,

01:36we will experience strong rains along the shoreline,

01:39moderate to heavy rains,

01:41or 50 to 100 mm of rain possible

01:45in the areas shaded by yellow.

01:49In the provinces of Quezon, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur.

01:53These rains will start this afternoon until tomorrow afternoon.

01:57By Sunday afternoon to Monday afternoon,

02:01more areas will experience rain.

02:04The axis of our shoreline will shift southward or downward.

02:10That's why you will experience rain in this part

02:12or you will experience strong rains in the eastern section of Visayas.

02:16Moderate to heavy rains are also possible here in Quezon,

02:19Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur,

02:21Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon,

02:24and in the northern and eastern suburbs.

02:27By Monday afternoon to Tuesday afternoon,

02:30we expect a northward shift

04:21we expect a southward shift or a downward shift of the shear line.

05:02in several cities of our country.

05:05We expect high seas in the areas of Batanes,

05:09in Cagayan, along with Mabuhayan Islands,

05:12Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan,

05:16in the area of Isabela,

05:18in the Western coast of Zambales,

05:21in Aurora, Kalayaan Islands,

05:26in the Northern coast of Quezon,

05:29along with Polilio Islands,

05:31in Camarines Norte,

05:33Northern coast of Camarines Sur,

05:35Northern and Eastern coasts of Catanduanes,

05:38Eastern coast of Albay,

05:40Eastern coast of Sorsogon,

05:42and the Northern coast of Northern Samar.

05:45So to our fellow fishermen

05:47and those who have small boats

05:50and the aforementioned seaboards,

05:51let's not go too far,

05:53because we will experience high seas

05:55with strong winds.

05:57For the rest of Luzon and Visayas,

05:59moderate to strong

06:01or moderate to strong

06:03in the waves that we may experience,

07:53will continue for most of Mindanao

07:55especially in the areas

07:57of Cagayan de Oro and Zamboanga City.

08:00Even though the weather is clear,

08:04because from late afternoon to evening,

08:06the chances of isolated rain showers

08:10or localized thunderstorms are still there.
