00:05Joe Lisi joined by NFL legend former Alabama and Seattle Seahawks running

00:10back Sean Alexander. Great atmosphere here Sean in New Orleans. Thoughts about

00:16about just the big game in general in the city of New Orleans? You know New

00:20Orleans is already a fabulous city and then to have the Super Bowl be here it

00:23has like all this great feel to it you know you know you already mentioned

00:27Alabama like you get that Sugar Bowl feel and then you take it to a whole

00:31nother level with the Super Bowl this it's gonna be great. When you look at the

00:34matchup right Kansas City looking for a 3p and I've said the hottest team

00:38potentially in the NFL in terms of the Philadelphia Eagles they've won 15 in

00:42the last 16 games but we talked about it the cherry on top has been the

00:46performance regular season and postseason of Saquon Barkley. Yeah. How

00:51do you see this game playing out? You know it's it's foolish to ever vote

00:55against Patrick Mahomes but if you're gonna do it you got to take the guy that

00:59could be the best running back in the league that could be the MVP he won't

01:04win it but he easily could be and if he did it win it and then you got three

01:08Bama guys you know so you know you got Jalen Hurst and Devontae

01:16Adams man like they're gonna play lights out like they're I expect big team big

01:21things out of the Bama boys and and Saquon's just special man like I think

01:25he's in a groove so the Chiefs are the perfect team for what for this day and

01:30age you know I mean they run just enough Patrick's gonna move the ball around

01:34he's got a great golden arm you know but uh but the Eagles do have a great chance

01:38to win this thing. When you look at Saquon do you feel like the performance

01:42and even Derrick Henry for Baltimore the evolution and maybe more in terms of how

01:47they utilize the running back you think we're gonna see that shift because a lot

01:50of teams would say you know in regards to the past few years we don't need a

01:55top-flight running back we could get a maybe a free agent to duplicate that

02:00type of productivity but when you see what Saquon and Derrick Henry have

02:03brought both Baltimore and Philly do you think we're gonna go back to maybe the

02:07running back being the main focus of an offense? I do think that's gonna happen

02:11you take them and they take Josh Jacobs of Green Bay you know like there's a

02:15couple of teams that are like wait we figured out but that's just evolution

02:18you know you go back to football the quarterback was the best guy on the

02:22play on the field best athlete ran through did it all and then they said

02:26wait a minute we can have angles if we give the ball to the tailback so then

02:29the tailback became the best athlete and then they backed the quarterback up to

02:32do odds and be like oh let's do shotgun and now they're throwing around so now

02:36you got actually these actually great receivers and wide receivers and they

02:38said well wait a minute what if the quarterback could run and throw wait a

02:41minute did we just start all over again we did and now they're gonna be like

02:44well wait a minute now we're trying to stop this quarterback that can run and

02:46throw now we can hand the ball to the running back because the numbers say if

02:50you're trying to cover these receivers and the running back running right you

02:53handing the ball to him left he's got numbers and so we're just seeing the

02:57football be football you know. Absolutely I think he's gonna have a dynamic

03:00performance not just on the ground but maybe through the air we'll talk about

03:04Alabama in a little bit but I know that you're a part of a great organization

03:09standtogether.org talk to me a little bit about that. You know stand

03:14together is about 850 or more of some of the greatest businessmen women and

03:20social entrepreneurs in the country they put together their time talents and

03:24treasures to help tackle some of the country's biggest issues from the

03:28juvenile justice system to community affairs to how to do business for good

03:33in communities and I jumped in with them and we helped do a cafe momentum which

03:39was a basically a restaurant for incarcerated juveniles and they

03:47used to call those kids throwaways and and we realized that the formula was

03:51putting the right ecosystem around and put the aunties and uncles around and

03:54what are they they could be social workers or it could be psychologists it

03:57could be a homeschool director a principal and we we put them around them

04:03and also gave them jobs at Cafe Momentum and next you know there was

04:06recidivism for these kids it's like 11% now the country's recidivism is 45 to 50

04:12and so we're seeing great work but stand together was the fuel behind them and

04:17they've got several different other projects from care portal which is

04:20helping kids and families that need before they go into the you know child

04:24care or foster care programs you know just countless and countless of other

04:28programs that are about helping the communities and showing everybody that

04:32if we actually start from the bottom and the people that are doing the great work

04:35and help them all get healthy and strong that we could raise a generation

04:40of great human beings that would be really awesome for our country and so

04:43stand together it's been a lot of fun about seven years now and what I've been

04:47enjoying is pulling more of my NFL brother right the play current players

04:51now and legends of the past and in this great community effort and it's a

04:56fraternity right yeah I mean whether you played 30 years ago whether you just

05:00retired maybe you know two or three I mean it's a close-knit community where

05:04former players love to help out and yeah and I think that goes unnoticed

05:07sometimes right we can't create on a lot of the negativity sometimes yeah as

05:11opposed to the great work that NFL players are doing yeah you know what

05:15what's really cool is we've been grabbing the guys are playing even today

05:18you know we did this great work with you know Joe Burrow a few years ago you got

05:24mouse kill broods all pro all pro special teams with the Steelers Rashad

05:28White running back with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers we're grabbing the players

05:32now DeMar Hamlin and I we've been we've been working on so many projects for

05:35community with the chase of millions in Pittsburgh and you know he's with the

05:39Bills of course but but all these guys are like how can we leave a legacy when

05:44we're done but it starts but putting the right foundation together now and so

05:48that's what stand together and my working with all the guys with with the

05:52NFL and and inspire change we're all putting this together like how can we

05:56have the great impact on communities now that can last even when the guys are

06:00done playing and they could find out more about the community and the site at

06:10able to find me and my team and and we're gonna help players that get there

06:13and then if you're a fan of work fan of community man get on there and and what

06:19we always say is let's figure out how you can be your best you for the

06:22community and we find ways to get everybody involved that's great we have

06:26about a minute I do want to just pick your brain about Kaitlyn DeBoer in

06:29Alabama huge expectations down in three overall Jalen Milrow now enters the NFL

06:35draft just give me your thoughts about Kaitlyn DeBoer in terms of year number

06:39one do you feel he's on the hot seat and has to make the college football playoff

06:43I think people have to put in reality like what as he's got more wins than any

06:47other first-year coach in Alabama history more than Bear Bryant yes more

06:52than Nick Saban more than Gene Stallings you know we're gonna list all the great

06:56quarter great head coaches Alabama and he would be like who had the best record

06:59at the year one Kaitlyn DeBoer so when everybody takes a deep breath and be

07:03like what do we got even the great Nick Saban had to put his team together to do

07:08it his way we know where coach Ryan's coming in to come run the offense who

07:12was his right-hand man a good friend of his at UW and you know now he's coming

07:17in everything is going the way we want this thing to be coach was a great

07:21recruiter he's a great father of players he's a great leader of men it's he's

07:26gonna do great but we'll see what happens I mean unbelievable when you

07:30think about the talent that has come through Alabama and we talked about

07:33running backs right yeah Gibbs is lighting it up yeah Detroit Lions

07:37unbelievable yeah you got Jameer Derek Josh Jacobs you know we've got we got

07:43three superstars and they're unbelievable amazing unbelievable I'm

07:47very proud of those guys one quick thought what can you just if there's one

07:52word of advice that you can give younger players that you've learned from high

07:56school to the NFL what would it be you know what there's always this thought

08:01that you can hype yourself into it but the same is still the same get coached

08:08up and do the work that's how you become great and so everybody everybody's

08:13chemical program to be this great massive weapon is a little bit different

08:18you know this person needs this much more sleep this person needs this much

08:21right so do the self work to go get yourself to be the best version of

08:25yourself and then let that thing fly when it's game night awesome pleasure
