00:18She opens her press conference Friday, February 7, with a brief statement.

00:37The VP appears calm and unfazed, completely different from the Sara Duterte who cursed,

00:42ranted, and threatened in a midnight virtual press conference in November 2024.

00:47Asked if she had already spoken to her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, she says

00:51her father said,

00:52"...everything will be all right."

00:53The vice president's impeachment is based on allegations of betrayal of public trust,

00:57culpable violation of the Constitution, bribery, graft and corruption, and other high crimes,

01:02following a resolution fast-tracked by 215 lawmakers.

01:06After transmittal, the Senate will now serve as an impeachment trial court.
