Cafe owner giving away 300 free sausages after his team make Premier League signing

West Bromwich Albion fan Ritchie Massey will give away 300 free sausage sandwiches at his café in Oldbury after promising them if the club signed a Premier League striker.  Expecting financial struggles to prevent a deal, Massey was caught off guard when WBA secured Adam Armstrong on loan from Southampton. He will now honour his pledge, costing over £1,000.  Despite the expense, Massey sees it as a great opportunity, saying: "Hopefully people will buy something else, and it puts us on the map."

00:56So I was on Twitter, and then around 10 to 11 there was rumours that we could still be

01:07And he literally took 12 hours later, but he eventually did sign,

01:12and what a signing that he could be for us.

01:14So did you kind of think, well, hopefully no one's noticed that tweet I put out?

01:20Yeah, I never mentioned it, but then all of a sudden,

01:23once the rumour that he may be signing...
