00:04All right, back in the Chicagoland here at Forest Park.

00:10They've been here for a long time.

00:12Look at this classic looking building.

00:14I mean, this is the type of hole-in-the-wall hot dog that you're trying to look for.

00:19Now, what we're going to do is see if this hot dog is worthy to take and worthy of this area.

00:24An area of great hot dogs.

00:27So, let's find out as we go hot dog here at Barkey's.

00:32This is Barkey's.

01:11Now, Barkey's has been here since 1947.

01:16It's got a unique look to it, a unique feel.

01:19You can sit outside when it's nice.

01:22Of course, it's 5 degrees outside, so it has a better view inside.

01:26And the bundle ratio is great.

01:30When a dog sticks out in front, that's when you know it's great.

01:32It's not the park we see, but hey, it's a little different.

01:35You need a little variety here.

01:37Let's see how this hot dog actually tastes.

01:47This is a pork-beef blend hot dog.

01:50Now, it's steamed, boiled, and done.

01:53Kind of like a Dirty Mornin' type of salad.

01:58But this tastes similar to the hot dog that they actually serve outside, that pork-beef blend.

02:05You've got the beef hot dogs are good, the pork-beef ones are.

02:08These hot dogs, this one, bite the pinwheels off.

03:53And this place is terrific, it's fun.

03:55And you know, a couple years ago, a car actually ran through the glass here.

04:03But they've recovered nicely.
