00:00South Korea's impeached president, Yoon Suk-yol, attended the sixth hearing at the
00:08Constitutional Court on Thursday, with three witnesses expected to take the stand through
00:13the day.
00:14Yoon's declaration of martial law plunged the country into a constitutional crisis that
00:19also saw the Prime Minister being impeached.
00:22Prosecutors have separately indicted Yoon on charges of leading an insurrection.
00:26He was arrested last month and is being held at a detention center.
00:30In the previous hearing held on Tuesday, Yoon said there was no point in debating whether
00:35he gave orders to remove lawmakers gathering to vote to lift the martial law when nothing
00:40actually happened.
00:42The Constitutional Court is reviewing Parliament's impeachment of Yoon on Dec. 14 and will decide
00:47whether to remove him from office permanently or reinstate him.
00:51If he is removed, a new presidential election must be held within 60 days.
