00:00From the Grammys to the big game, Kendrick Lamar is headlining this year's Super Bowl
00:04halftime show, and Taylor Swift is sure to be in the crowd. Right now, we're breaking
00:08down all the musical moments you can expect during Super Bowl 59.
00:14Sunday's game will see the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles,
00:17as the Chiefs try to three-peat and win it all for the third year in a row.
00:21It's going down at the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Louisiana native
00:25John Batiste is singing the National Anthem. Ahead of the game, trombone Shorty and Lauren
00:30Daigle will also perform America the Beautiful, and Lettucey will perform Lift Every Voice and
00:34Sing, often referred to as the Black National Anthem. Then, Lamar will take the stage for
00:39the Apple Music Super Bowl halftime show. The 22-time Grammy winner previously performed at
00:44the hip-hop-heavy 2022 halftime show, starring Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige,
00:50and 50 Cent. As for what fans can expect this time around, Lamar's Not Like Us producer,
00:55Mustard, told The Hollywood Reporter this on the 2025 Grammys red carpet.
00:59What is he going to bring? A f-----g monster show? He's the greatest, man. He's one of the
01:04greatest artists of all time in my book, and he's one of the greatest performers of all time. If you
01:09really go back and study, he's literally been doing this for so long and at a high level, so
01:14I expect nothing but the best. He's incredible. Lamar has already confirmed that he'll bring out
01:19at least one special guest. The rapper teamed up with Apple Music for a teaser that revealed
01:24SZA will join him on the Super Bowl stage. Now, I've been thinking about a guest performer.
01:32Damn. The pair have collaborated on numerous songs, including 30 for 30,
01:37Luther, Gloria, Doves in the Wind, and All the Stars, just to name a few.
01:41Another artist Lamar has worked with will definitely be in the building.
01:49His Bad Blood collaborator, Taylor Swift.
01:54And while it's doubtful T-Swift will join K-Dot up on stage during halftime,
01:58Travis Kelce's brother, Jason Kelce, confirmed to People magazine that the Fortnite singer
02:03will be in attendance to support her boyfriend, who of course is the tight end for the Chiefs.
02:07It's all going down on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 3.30 p.m. Pacific, 6.30 p.m. Eastern on Fox.
