00:00Thank you so much for coming along. So I know the first thing you'll all be thinking is

00:10right you've got an MP standing in front of us, what the hell does he know about farming?

00:14So let me just give a bit of an indication. We farm as a family in Lincolnshire. Prior

00:18to being an MP, I worked as a farm business consultant for about 10 or 12 years. So ag

00:24has very much been in my blood, so to speak, very much before entering the other side as

00:29an MP. So I am now lucky enough to represent the Yorkshire seat, so my seat is Keighley

00:36and Ilkley, but in Westminster I hold the post of Shadow Farming Minister.

00:40What the government aren't prepared to put in at the moment is the delayed ability to

00:45pay that over 10 years. So at the moment the government...
