00:00So lots of signs and symptoms of children experiencing a period of bedwetting
00:05mainly changes in their emotions, their confidence.
00:12Today for Children's Mental Health Awareness Week
00:14I have been working with Pampers Ninjanas.
00:16We are extending our conversation around helping children to feel more confident in school
00:21and we're hosting a confidence building workshop for children and their parents.
00:25My top tips in helping children who are experiencing bedwetting as a child psychologist
00:30I suppose would be focused around their emotional wellbeing.
00:33So making sure that you're having conversations with your children
00:36that help them to feel really supported by you
00:39and that help them to understand that they're not in control of what their body does while they're asleep
00:43so it's not something that they need to feel embarrassed about.
00:47I think it's a really useful event and I think it's very informative
00:50and it's going to really help my daughters.
00:52It gave us lots of techniques today
00:54and helped us communicate with our children a bit more.
00:59I have been so thrilled to be involved in this project with Pampers Ninjanas
01:03as part of Children's Mental Health Awareness Week.
01:06I think that it is so important for children to feel supported by their parents
01:12I think that it is so important to have these conversations
01:15around confidence and supporting children to go to school.
