00:00As a woman of color, we know that there are a lot of disparities, especially in marginalized

00:04communities, and we want to make sure that everybody has fair and equitable health.

00:08That's what's important to me, to make sure that people who don't have access to health

00:13are still able to live. I mean, you should not have to worry if you can get your prescription,

00:20or you don't have to worry if you can get to the doctor or be able to afford to get to the doctor.

00:24So just listening to our voices and knowing that there is a need,

00:28and everybody should treat everybody. I always say this, treat people like you would treat

00:32your mother, if you like your mother, I don't know. But if you love your mother,

00:36treat doctors, politicians, policymakers. That's what's important.
