00:00The Pasinaya Open House Festival was a success in the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

00:07Gavil Llaguez reports.

00:13The Cultural Center of the Philippines successfully held the two days of the largest multi-arts festival in the country.

00:21This is the Pasinaya Open House Festival,

00:23along with the opening of the National Arts Month in February.

00:27This Saturday, there will be workshops held by the CCP.

00:31Yesterday, there will be performances awaited by the audience.

00:35The festival started with a parade.

00:39Here, the CCP introduced some of the resident companies and performing groups

00:46that came from different parts of the country.

00:49Some of the resident companies and performing groups that performed were

00:53the Tanghalang Pilipino, Etchage Menggal Cultural Dance Troupe, Sintalab,

00:58Comedia Nandongalo, Philippine School for the Arts, and many more.

01:02The teacher, Widmark from Dagupan City,

01:05invited 200 students to come to the Pasinaya.

01:09We expect that the CCP's resident companies will watch

01:16not only on Facebook, but also in their actual performances.

01:22Yuri, a student, will be the first to go to the Pasinaya.

01:26We're expecting a lot of shows, a lot of creativity, a lot of culture and tradition in the arts.

01:32We will adapt to the school.

01:34One of the new activities of the CCP is the game,

01:38where 100% Filipino video games will be played.

01:41One of the new activities launched by the Cultural Center of the Philippines

01:46for the Pasinaya this year

01:48is what they call Paandar,

01:50an open mic that allows performers to show their talents

01:54in dancing, singing, or writing.

01:57I didn't miss the opportunity to sing in front of a lot of people.

02:07At the closing gala of Pasinaya 2025,

02:10other resident companies and performing groups from different parts of the country attended.

02:16The awardees of each CCP for their performances were also present at the ceremony.

02:21They were Joey Ayala and Felix Monino Duque,

02:24as well as Ricky Lee, the National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts.

02:28According to the CCP's data,

02:30in Metro Manila alone, 316 group performers attended,

02:35and almost 7,000 individual performers performed.

02:39More than 58,000 audiences attended the two-day multi-arts festival.

02:45We hope that all the programs of the CCP will continue,

02:53and we expect your continued participation in the Cultural Center of the Philippines

02:59to continue its mission,

03:01especially to introduce and share our culture and arts to our countrymen.

03:08In 2005, when the CCP started Pasinaya,

03:12different performances, workshops, and exhibits were held

03:16to showcase the talents of Filipino artists.

03:20For many years,

03:21the Pay What You Can, See All You Can Scheme was implemented in Pasinaya

03:25to ensure that the arts are accessible to everyone.
