Emerald cotton grower Aaron Kiely, Deneliza Downs, is one of the first growers to harvest this season's cotton crop in the Central Highlands.

00:00I'm Aaron Kiley, we're farmers here in Emerald Central, Queensland.
00:04It's a family farming operation on Denaliza Downs.
00:08This crop here was planted on the 21st of August, a pretty good season around low pest pressure.
00:14We've got around 420 hectares of cotton planted this year and we'll look at harvesting around
00:2015% and then with the rest we're going to grow that on and see what the potential is.
