00:00All right, let's talk first about Kellen Moore.

00:03It's the worst kept secret in football now.

00:06It looks like he's got the Saints job and they're just waiting until after the Super

00:10Bowl to announce it.

00:11Yeah.

00:12Yeah.

00:13And they can't.

00:14They cannot negotiate a deal.

00:15It's kind of like undercover.

00:16Yeah.

00:17He's going to get the deal.

00:18He's going to take it.

00:19I've talked to two people close to him.

00:20He absolutely wants to be a head coach.

00:23And look, he called a heck of a game last week.

00:25He pulled out a lot of stuff.

00:26I mean, handing the ball off to Dal Scott, Eagles tight end, and Devante Smith, he called

00:30a great game against Washington.

00:32Now, here's the thing, Scott, you alluded to it before the break, and it's really important

00:36to note.

00:37And this has been part of Jalen Hurts' struggles at times.

00:39And Jalen talked about this before the season started.

00:41He's gone through a number of play callers, actually going back to his high school team,

00:45Scott.

00:46His dad was his high school coach.

00:47And if you look through it, remember now, Alabama, Oklahoma, and the Eagles, had nine

00:53or 10 play callers.

00:54And we're going to have another one.

00:55So let's look at a 2020, Doug Petersen is last year with the Eagles.

00:59Nick Ceriani did the first seven games.

01:03Then in that 21 season, he handed off to Shane Steichen, and boy, did that thing take off.

01:06Steichen was a play caller during their Super Bowl one in 22.

01:11Then Steichen became the Colts head coach, Brian Johnson, who he's known since he was

01:1510 years old.

01:17Yeah, yeah, exactly.

01:19Back in black, man.

01:20One of my favorites.

01:21There you go.

01:23I got you.

01:24Brian Johnson was his play caller, who's now in Washington, who's been a lifelong friend

01:27of Jalen's and Kellen Moore this season.

01:29It's going to have somebody else next season.

01:32And my early, the early insight I've gotten is they'll probably look outside the team.

01:36And oh, by the way, you should know this, Scott, for your listeners or Eagles fans,

01:39the Eagles were going to help.

01:41We're going to actually hire Cliff Kingsbury.

01:42They wanted to, but they could not agree on the coaching staff.

01:45So he did a great job with the commanders.

01:47He'll be back there.

01:48He's not going to be a head coach.

01:49And Warner, barring something highly unforeseen, is going to be the Saints head coach, and

01:53they're going to have another play caller.

01:55And look, Scott, if you look what happened after the 22 season, right, what happened

01:59to the Eagles?

02:00Okay, they fell apart, as you know, with that collapse, losing six out of seven.

02:02Well, they lost both play callers.

02:04Both became head coaches.

02:06That matters.

02:07When you have so many coaching changes, that's a problem.
