00:00The Memorandum of Understanding was approved by the Department of Agriculture and a supermarket chain

00:06to strengthen the President's strength through the T29 and Rights for All Program.

00:12The Agriculture Secretary Francisco Churaureo Jr. and Merimart President Jacqueline Ana Marie Gutierrez

00:18also approved the agreement.

00:21This is the result of the DA's decision on January 21,

00:25where it encouraged the large retail network that was helped by the government in the sale of cheap rice.

00:31And in line with the government's expanded food security agenda

00:35to increase the income of small farmers,

00:39to increase the market of agricultural products,

00:42and to make basic necessities accessible in a cheap price.
