PH police officer among victims in US midair tragedy  A Filipino police officer is among the fatalities in the collision between a US military helicopter and a commercial plane outside Washington DC, the  @pnppio confirms on Jan. 31, 2025.  Col. Rundulf Tuaño, PNP information chief, said Col. Pergentino N. Malabed, chief of the Supply Management Division, was among those on board the American Airlines flight that collided midair with a US Army Black Hawk helicopter near Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C., and crashed into the Potomac River on Jan. 29.
