00:00A student who is selling gadgets to pay for the tuition
00:04who is a victim of a scammer
00:06Isaiah Mirofuentes will tell you in detail
00:12Money has become a stone
00:14That's what happened to a student in Makati City
00:17He sold his iPad 10 gadget for 18,000 pesos
00:23He will use it to pay for his tuition fee
00:27He posted his used gadget online on January 22
00:31He received a message from an Emaros Ignacio
00:35They made a deal on the price
00:37According to the deal, the buyer will book the delivery rider
00:41He didn't allow us to book
00:45So what happened is, he booked it
00:48He asked for my details, contact number, and contact person
00:53Later, a rider came to their house
00:57The buyer said that the rider came to their house to pick up the gadget
01:02The victim didn't know
01:04The rider went to their house
01:07And the buyer is alone
01:09The victim gave the gadget
01:11But he didn't receive the payment from the buyer
01:15The CCTV also captured the suspect leaving the victim's house
01:20His gadget was stolen
01:23I texted the rider not to return the gadget
01:28But the buyer said that he will ask me for money
01:35But I already sent him 400 pesos
01:39Because it's from Marikina to Binangonan
01:41So it's suspicious to me
01:44When I sent him the money, he didn't reply
01:48The victim's story
01:49The victim didn't recognize him
01:51Because the suspect talked to him nicely
01:53And they also made a video call
01:55But he didn't know that he was already a scammer
01:59I want to remind the public to be careful
02:02Don't trust the people around you
02:07Especially if they don't know you
02:09Don't give money until you receive the gadget
02:13It's better to leave it
02:15I know that you're watching
02:17I know that you have a lot of victims
02:19And I'm not the only one
02:21But remember
02:23Even if we can't do anything for you
02:25It's up to God to decide what to do for you
02:29The suspect is still being tortured
