00:00The second tranche of salary adjustment for government officials is now effective
00:05according to the National Budget Circular 597 issued by the Department of Budget and Management or DBM on Monday.
00:13All government employees from the Executive, Legislature, Judiciary and government agencies
00:23as well as members of the military and uniformed personnel will receive the necessary funds
00:29for the salary adjustment to the Miscellaneous Personal Benefits Fund
00:34and the expected budgets of the agencies under the 2025 General Appropriations Act.
00:41According to DBM, the government corporations will receive funds from their corporate operating budgets.
00:49The changes to the salary are part of the implementation of Executive Order No. 64
00:56which aims to improve the system of compensation for government employees from 2024 to 2027.
