00:19Speaking during her visit to the Temporary Relief Centre at Dewan Haji Qamaruddin in Kampung Segedup on Thursday,

00:26Nancy explained that centralised coordination is essential for effective aid distribution, particularly in flood-isolated areas.

00:35She cited examples of challenging locations like Bakenu and Sibuti in Miri,

00:40where even the Social Welfare Department faces difficulties delivering basic supplies such as tents due to high water levels.

00:48The Minister also emphasised the importance of proper victim registration through the Social Welfare Department.

00:55She highlighted that affected families are eligible for R1,000 in assistance,

01:00and this information needs to be clearly conveyed to all victims.
