01:08Well I think there's only uncertainty in this room amongst the media.
01:27There's no uncertainty in this building.
01:28So let me provide the certainty and the clarity
01:30that all of you need.
01:31This is not a blanket pause on federal assistance
01:35in grant programs from the Trump administration.
01:38Individual assistance, that includes —
01:41I'm not naming everything that's included,
01:43but just to give you a few examples —
01:45Social Security benefits, Medicare benefits,
01:48food stamps, welfare benefits —
01:50assistance that is going directly to individuals
01:53will not be impacted by this pause.
01:56And I want to make that very clear
01:58to any Americans who are watching at home
02:00who may be a little bit confused
02:01about some of the media reporting.
02:03This administration, if you are receiving
02:05individual assistance from the federal government,
02:07you will still continue to receive that.
02:09However, it is the responsibility
02:11of this President and this administration
02:13to be good stewards of taxpayer dollars.
02:16That is something that President Trump campaigned on.
02:18That's why he has launched DOGE,
02:20the Department of Government Efficiency,
02:22who is working alongside OMB.
02:25And that's why OMB sent out this memo last night,
02:27because the President signed an executive order
02:30directing OMB to do just this.
02:32And the reason for this is to ensure that every penny
02:35that is going out the door is not conflicting
02:38with the executive orders and actions
02:40that this President has taken.
02:41So, what does this pause mean?
02:43It means no more funding for illegal DEI programs.
02:46It means no more funding for the Green New Scam
02:49that has cost American taxpayers
02:51tens of billions of dollars.
02:53It means no more funding for transgenderism
02:56and wokeness across our federal bureaucracy and agencies.
