00:00Many Democrats are fighting me on that.
00:02I hope you continue, because you'll never win another race.
00:06And it's just crazy.
00:08We are the federal law.
00:10Well, you better do it.
00:11You better do it, because you're not gonna get
00:12any federal funding at all if you don't.
00:14And by the way, your population,
00:16even though it's somewhat liberal,
00:17although I did very well there.
00:19And enjoy your life after governor,
00:21because I don't think you'll be in elected politics.
00:24You had two transitioned people that were fighting
00:26in the women's boxing, they have women's boxing category.
00:29If you saw that, it was brutal.
00:33And Democrat governors are gonna have,
00:36you're gonna get the benefit of this.
00:37You're gonna be opening up plants,
00:38and you're gonna be, I hope we have enough people.
00:41We're gonna let, and we want people to come
00:43into our country, by the way, I do,
00:44but they have to come in legally.
00:45So we need people in the country,
00:48but they have to come in legally.
00:49Two weeks ago, I signed an executive order
00:53banning men from playing in women's sports.
00:56Many Democrats are fighting me on that.
00:58I hope you continue, because you'll never win another race.
01:02And it's just crazy, if you look at what happened
01:05with the boxing, if you look at what happened
01:07with the weightlifting numbers,
01:08where a record that hadn't been broken for 19 years
01:13got shattered by, you know, they put up
01:15an eighth of an ounce here, an eighth of an ounce here,
01:17and it's 218 pounds or whatever a lot.
01:22And hadn't been broken in 19 years,
01:25and then a guy walks up who transitioned,
01:29he transitioned, and he knocked out that record
01:32by about 100 pounds.
01:34That will be a record not gonna be broken again.
01:37It'll no longer, so we put a ban on it.
01:39And to protect women, I mean, the women,
01:44if you watch the Olympics, you had two transitioned people
01:47that were fighting in the women's boxing,
01:49they have women's boxing category,
01:50and if you saw that, it was brutal.
01:53What happened to the, the Italian woman
01:56was a really good boxer.
01:58After one punch, she said, no, no, no more, no more.
02:01I've never been, it was a left, it was not even a,
02:04it was just a left jab.
02:05She got hit so hard, she said, I can't do it.
02:09They forced her to go out.
02:10No, go out, go out again, you'll do it.
02:12Goes out again, hits, gets hit again.
02:14No, no, that's it.
02:15She didn't wanna die, and it's crazy,
02:18but the NCAA has complied immediately, by the way.
02:24That's good, but I understand Maine,
02:26is Maine here, the governor of Maine?
02:30Are you not gonna comply with it?
02:32I'm complying with state and federal laws.
02:34Well, we are the federal law.
02:36Well, you better do it, you better do it,
02:38because you're not gonna get any federal funding at all
02:40if you don't, and by the way, your population,
02:42even though it's somewhat liberal,
02:43although I did very well there,
02:45your population doesn't want men playing in women's sports.
02:49So you better comply, because otherwise,
02:52you're not getting any federal funding.
02:55Every state, good, I'll see you in court.
02:57I look forward to that.
02:57That should be a real easy one.
03:01And enjoy your life after governor,
03:02because I don't think you'll be in elected politics.
03:05Every state has a responsibility to comply with Title IX.
03:09They have an obligation, a legal obligation,
03:12and we'll be enforcing aggressively,
03:14and we're gonna be protecting our citizens.
03:17We're gonna protect.
03:18So just to end, this administration has been fighting
03:22for parents' rights and universal school choice.
03:27We wanna do something that I think
03:29many people in this room want, and even if you don't,
03:32I think you do want it, but you might not be able to say it.
03:34We wanna move the schools back to the states
03:36so that Iowa and South Carolina and Georgia
03:41and all these states can run your own school system,
03:44and you'll do a fantastic job.
03:46Kim, you're gonna do great.
03:47I use your example, because you're so much
03:50into the education, done a great job with school choice,
03:54and you'll do with your school choice.
03:55That'll be the easy thing.
03:56But we wanna get it back, take it away.
03:58So just some stats.
04:00So last, it's usually we're 38, 39, or 40 out of 40.
04:04They take the 40, I guess biggest, most important,
04:07whatever it might be, but 40 countries.
04:10And we were 38, 38, 39, and congratulations,
04:15but two months ago, three months ago, we hit number 40.
04:17So we were last in terms of education in the world.
04:21Don't miss out.
