TAG Heuer Formula E drivers in Daytona

The GTP class will feature four Porsche 963s: two from Porsche Penske Motorsport, one from Proton Competition, and another from JDC-Miller MotorSports. Formula E World Champion Pascal Wehrlein from Germany will make his Daytona debut in the latter.

00:00So we're here in the amazing racetrack for the Daytona 24 Hours.

00:04Just last weekend we were racing in Mexico with Formula E, where we had a great result for the team with Porsche.

00:12Now a completely different car, different environment, sharing the car with other drivers.

00:16There's 60 cars on track.

00:19It was pretty quick to get back in rhythm with the car.

00:22It's just a different way to go racing, you know, with this endurance racing world.

00:26The compromise in your seat, in your setup, with your teammates helping each other out.

00:30You know, when you get the big prize at the end, it's amazing.

00:35So it's my first endurance race.

00:37I drove the car one month or two months ago here as well in Daytona.

00:41It was the first time on track.

00:42I think the biggest difference you could get compared to a Formula E car.

00:47I'm just trying to adapt, to learn.

00:49Jimmy is a very experienced teammate, so I'm sure that I can learn a lot from him.

00:55I'm just here for the team, trying to soak up every experience I can get here.
