00:00We've heard quite a bit from other US allies, the Prime Minister of Italy,

00:04Georgia Maloney, who was actually present at the inauguration. I think she can be

00:09considered a close ally and friend of this new administration.

00:14She's obviously not sounding too keen on this idea of resettling Palestinians from Gaza. She

00:21used the example of Syrian refugees being resettled in other countries in the region and how it had

00:25been unsettling and it affected regional stability. Do you think that's a consideration for the Trump

00:34team to bear in mind? I think the Trump team will bear in mind every consideration.

00:39But I'll repeat to what I said earlier, there's no easy solution to what's going on in Gaza.

00:46The position of Israeli leaders, and I spoke to them a few months ago, is that before they will

00:53agree to a two-state solution, the Palestinians have to be de-radicalized. If we have a people

00:59that's training their young people from the time they're toddlers to destroy the state of Israel

01:05and to hate Jews, something has to change before that people is given an opportunity to set up a

01:11state next to Israel, which Hamas would use to rearm and attack Israel again.
