00:00But I'm just wondering, I mean, we've had quite mixed signals from the Trump administration on this.

00:04I mean, back in February, Gaza was going to be a theme park.

00:07Now it does sound a lot more like President Trump has come around to the idea of the two-state solution, doesn't it?

00:15This is the big breakthrough here, is Donald Trump has come around on that.

00:19He wanted the Palestinians to be a diaspora throughout the world,

00:24and now he has come around to allowing these two million or so people to stay in their ancestral homeland,

00:29which is, of course, a big change on his part.

00:33And he has gotten some buy-in from other Arab countries about what happens the day after.

00:38This has been a big part of Donald Trump's negotiations that has been missing,

00:43really trying to think about what does a new Palestine look like, who's part of the government, who is not,

00:51who is contributing towards security, who is not.

00:54In the past, it has just been ceasefire, ceasefire, and hostages.

00:56This one is much more complicated and much more forward-looking for the Palestinian people,

01:03and that has been a big change for the Trump administration.
